Terri Mottershead is the founding Principal of Mottershead Consulting - Change and Talent Development Strategists (www.mottersheadconsulting.com). She brings to her consulting work almost three decades of experience on three different continents in management, international law practice, legal institution building, talent management, organizational development, stakeholder engagement and consensus building, legal education, and management training.

Before establishing her own consultancy, Terri worked in-house in attorney talent management in Asia and for AmLaw 100 law firms in the US, practiced law in Australia and Hong Kong, and worked in Hong Kong as a law school academic and consultant. At Mottershead Consulting, she works internationally with professional services organizations and educational institutions, providing consulting services and training programs in the areas of change management and transition, practice management and leadership, talent management and professional development, and skills training at law schools and law firms.

Terri is an award-winning teacher; she has delivered over 100 invited presentations in more than 20 different countries on five different continents. Terri is the General Editor of and a contributing author to The Art and Science of Strategic Talent Management In Law Firms (West, September 2010) and the author of The MC Blog (http://mottersheadconsultingblog.wordpress.com).

Terri holds a Bachelor of Laws (with honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, both from the Queensland Institute of Technology in Australia; a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland in Australia; and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from the University of Wales.
