Biography:  Scott Godes is an insurance recovery litigator, helping clients recover from their insurers. He cut his teeth as an insurance coverage litigator by trying complex coverage matters arising out of thousands of asbestos claims, with one of his verdicts featured on the front page of the New York Law Journal. Since 2008, he has focused his practice on insurance coverage for cybersecurity and data privacy risks. He has litigated the scope of insurance coverage for cyber incidents under cyberinsurance, CGL, and crime policies, and has helped clients recover for cyber and privacy events under those policies and others.
