Rick Antonoff is a partner in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice at Blank Rome LLP.  Rick has been practicing bankruptcy law and financial restructuring for more than 25 years working with global financial institutions, investment funds, trade creditors and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructuring.  His practice includes representing secured and unsecured creditors, strategic and financial investors of distressed companies, lenders in debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, foreign receivers in cross-border bankruptcy cases and defendants in avoidance actions including preference, fraudulent transfer and other bankruptcy litigation.

Recent engagements include representing bondholder groups in the Tidewater chapter 11 case and insolvency proceedings of Odebrecht Oil & Gas in Brazil; FilmNation as a contract counterparty in The Weinstein Company and Open Road Films chapter 11 cases; DIP lenders in Radio Shack and Seaborne Airlines; foreign receivers in three cross-border chapter 15 bankruptcy cases of Russian debtors; preference and fraudulent transfer defendants in the Seabord Realty case; the directors of Zohar-I in its involuntary bankruptcy case and syndicated bank lenders in restructuring loans to Noble Americas, Gulfstream Services, Icicle Seafoods, BRF Foods and Braskem.

Rick is a member of the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Committee of the New York City Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Puerto Rico Task Force of the New York City Bar Association. He earned his law degree with honors from Cardozo Law School where he served as a Law Review Editor.
