Richard A. Reinartz

The Reinartz Law Firm

New York, NY, USA

Richard A. Reinartz is a nationally recognized trial attorney who has dedicated his career to protecting the rights of wrongfully injured individuals.

Prior to founding The Reinartz Law Firm, Richard worked for over a decade as a trial attorney at two of the largest and most prominent law firms in the United States. In that capacity, he represented injured individuals in personal injury lawsuits, as well as insurance companies and Fortune 500 corporations in complex business disputes. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes multi-party litigation, Richard possesses a unique perspective of the litigation process. He knows firsthand how insurance companies and large corporations defend against claims brought by injured individuals, and is able to use this information to navigate the complexities of the litigation process on behalf of those claimants. For business clients, Richard is able to identify relevant issues at the outset of a dispute and provide cost-effective, solution-oriented legal services.

Richard has been selected each of the past five years for inclusion in Super Lawyers – an independent listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This distinction is conferred on only 2.5% of all licensed attorneys in the state. The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA) previously named him one of the “Top 10? personal injury lawyers in New Jersey under the age of 40. The American Society of Legal Advocates (ASLA) further named him one of the top 40 litigation lawyers under the age of 40 in the state. ASLA invites those lawyers to join its ranks “who combine stellar legal credentials with proven commitment to community engagement, leadership, and the highest professional standards.” The Supreme Court of New Jersey appointed Richard to serve on its District V-A Ethics Committee based on his track record of professionalism and ethical lawyering. Richard also serves on various committees of the New Jersey State Bar Association by appointment of the President of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Richard further serves by appointment on the Hudson County Civil Practice Committee, which acts as a liaison between the civil bench and the bar on issues affecting civil practice, arranges educational seminars and holds an annual meeting between the civil judges and the bar to address rule changes and other concerns.

In addition to the above accolades, giving back to the community has been rewarding for Richard. He has provided pro bono legal services to the Newark Reentry Legal Services organization, which helps individuals with criminal records address civil legal matters that present barriers to successful community reintegration. He has also provided pro bono legal services to the “Wills for Heroes” program, which provides estate and trust planning services completely free-of-charge to a variety of first responders, emergency medical technicians, and police and fire department personnel and their families.

Richard is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York, in addition to various federal trial and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. He is personally involved in the day-to-day handling of all cases handled by The Reinartz Law Firm, ensuring continuity of attorney work product and a comprehensive understanding of the facts, procedural history, and strategies unique to each case.
