Paul Brennan represents a wide variety of clients involved in all aspects of the motion picture and television industries, including writers, directors, producers, financiers and Academy Award winning filmmakers.  He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating documentation related to all facets of motion picture development and production, along with a particular expertise in motion picture financing and distribution.  Mr. Brennan has also has served as production counsel on numerous film and television projects, both narrative and documentary, including films such as Top Five, Love is Strange, The Bling Ring, I’m Not There, Far From Heaven, Super Size Me, Somewhere, Kill Your Darlings and the upcoming Little Men and Bleed For This and television series such as Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Younger, Difficult People, Odd Mom Out and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.  

Prior to founding Bruns Brennan & Berry, Mr. Brennan began his career in 1995 at Sloss Eckhouse Brennan LawCo LLP (formerly Sloss Law Office) becoming a partner of the firm in 2000.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section and is admitted to practice in New York.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Brown University and his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
