Pamela Marx is the supervising attorney at Mental Health Advocacy Services, Inc.  She provides legal representation in special education, government benefits, consumer issues and fair housing matters.  She trains parents, educators and mental health professionals in special education law, housing rights, and government benefits.  For over ten years, she has also trained pro bono attorneys as well as staff at Los Angeles County legal services providers on strategies for effectively working clients who have behavior challenges that may interfere with effective representation. Previously, she has been an educational consultant for Public Works! evaluating low-performing schools, educational intervention programs and social service programs and served an in-house corporate counsel. She is the author of numerous instructional activity books for elementary and middle school age children.  She is a 1978 graduate of University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
