Nancy L. Sanborn

Ms. Sanborn is a partner in Davis Polk's Mergers and Acquisitions Group, representing corporate clients, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in connection with private equity investments, acquisition and divestiture transactions and sales of businesses and assets by companies in financial distress or Chapter 11. She has also worked on numerous other out-of-court financial restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including Frontier Airlines, Maxxim Medical, Dow Corning and R.H. Macy.

- Sale of Cabin Management Business of DeCrane Aerospace to Goodrich Corporation
- Sale of offshore oil and gas driller FDR Holdings to Noble Corporation
- Sale of Pinnacle Gas Resources, a publicly traded portfolio company of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners 
- Stalking horse bid by SandRidge Energy, Inc. to acquire Crusader Energy Group Inc. pursuant to its Chapter 11 plan of reorganization 
- BearingPoint's sale of its North American public services business to Deloitte and the sale of its North American commercial services business to PricewaterhouseCoopers during its Chapter 11 case 
- Investments by Tailwind Capital Partners in SDI Health, Pillar Processing and Optimal Solutions 
- Investments by DLJ Merchant Banking Partners in Guala Closures, Peach Holdings, Health Markets and numerous other companies 
- Credit Suisse's investment in Ospraie Group

Ms. Sanborn has worked on numerous other out-of-court financial restructurings and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including Frontier Airlines, Maxxim Medical, Dow Corning and R.H. Macy.
