Krista M. Ellis

Krista serves as Director and Counsel and Head of Litigation for the Americas at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. In this role, she manages a cross-border litigation and investigations docket, responds to regulatory inquiries, and appears in court and before government agencies. Krista also litigates complex commercial matters, including actions relating to industry-wide products and practices, multiple CDO lawsuits, and cases arising out of the bank’s major product lines.  Krista sits on the Bank’s Security Governance Committee, Vendor Management Steering Committee, and Cybersecurity Subcommittee, and is part of the Data Loss Prevention Team.

 Prior to joining CA-CIB, Krista worked in the Litigation Departments of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and Arent Fox LLP from 2005 to 2012, and clerked for The Honorable James E. Bradberry in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia from 2004 to 2005. Krista received a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2004, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Boston University in 2001. In addition to being admitted in the State of New York, Krista is admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales.
