Kimberly Skadan

Kimberly Skadan is a Staff Attorney with The Legal Aid Society’s Brooklyn Office for the Aging, where she has practiced since 2008. Ms. Skadan has litigated cases in Housing Court, Supreme Court, and at the Appellate Term and Appellate Division. Prior to her tenure at The Legal Aid Society, Ms. Skadan was awarded the Access to Justice Fellowship at Heisler, Feldman, McCormick & Garrow, P.C., where she worked from 2006 to 2008 representing low-income tenants in Massachusetts.

Ms. Skadan has been an adjunct professor at Benjamin Cardozo School of Law since 2013. She has served as the co-Secretary of the Brooklyn Tenant Lawyers Network since 2012.

Ms. Skadan received her undergraduate degree from Westmont College, and graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2006. During her third year of law school, Ms. Skadan served as the Editor in Chief of The Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
