Kevin Woody is a Branch Chief in the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  He works with registrants in the real estate and commodities industries on accounting and reporting maters.  Mr. Woody joined the Division of Corporation Finance in September 2003 as a Staff Accountant in the Office of Health Care and Insurance and was a Branch Chief in that office from April 2005 until joining the Office of Real Estate and Commodities in January 2007.  Prior to joining the Commission in 2003, Mr. Woody was a manager in the audit and assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP and prior to that he worked within the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of State.  Mr. Woody received his B.S. in Commerce in 1995 from the University of Virginia.  Mr. Woody is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia and an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center.
