Kathleen M. Emberger is counsel based in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

Ms. Emberger's practice focuses on executive compensation, corporate governance and benefits matters, including the implementation of employee equity and equity-based incentive arrangements, compensation and benefits aspects of merger and acquisition transactions, and related disclosure issues.

Ms. Emberger joined the firm in 1998 and became counsel in 2007. She received a J.D. degree, cum laude, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law in 1998 and an undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.

Ms. Emberger is a member of the Bar in New York. Her native language is English, and she is fluent in French.
