JERRY A. RIEDINGER is a litigation partner at Perkins Coie, LLP and former firm-wide chair of the firm's patent litigation practice.  He practices in Seattle, where he focuses on patent infringement, trade secret and related complex intellectual property litigation.  He has 28 years of experience conducting patent and trade secret infringement suits involving a variety of technologies such as software, semiconductors, consumer electronics, agricultural products, medical devices, chemical compositions and pharmaceutical products. He has represented clients in more than 90 patent litigations, acting as lead counsel in more than 60. Jerry is active in several national and regional bar associations, and has held numerous leadership positions, including in the IPO,  the AIPLA, the Washington State Patent Law Association, the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago and the Federal Circuit Bar Association.  He is a past Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association and a former member of Council of the IP Section of the American Bar Association. He is a past chair of the ABA IP Section's Division I (Patents) and the Section's Antitrust Committee, its Trade Secrets Committee and its Continuing Legal Education Committee. He is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to intellectual property ethics, and the practice of patent, trade secret and intellectual property litigation.
