Jennifer Finnegan is Senior Vice President of Aon Risk Solutions, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor for law firms since the 1930’s, representing almost 300 U.S.-based law firms. As a member of Aon’s Loss Prevention group and newly-formed Law Firm Advisory Team, Jenny advises law firm clients on risk management, professional responsibility issues, and law firm strategic planning in the new legal market.

Prior to joining Aon in 2018, Jenny was General Counsel of Herrick, Feinstein LLP, a mid-size, full service law firm in New York and New Jersey, providing advice and guidance on professional responsibility, legal ethics, risk management and compliance issues and defending professional liability claims.  While at Herrick, Jenny was also a partner in Herrick’s litigation department and focused her practice on complex litigation for financial institutions and for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, automotive and chemical industries at both trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining Herrick in 1998, she worked at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, negotiating agreements for its museums and organizations.

Jenny graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995 and earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey.
