JENNIFER B. ZARGAROF is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office and co-leads the firm’s global Labor and Employment practice group.

Ms. Zargarof advocates for employers in a broad range of disputes, with a focus on class actions and other multi-plaintiff litigation. She defends companies in wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, background checks/Fair Credit Reporting Act and other employment-related matters at the trial and appellate levels. Ms. Zargarof also counsels employers on the full array of personnel policies and procedures, employee discipline matters, employment contracts, and wage and hour issues. She serves clients across numerous industries, including retail, healthcare, transportation, and financial services.

Ms. Zargarof has lectured throughout California on various employment-related topics. She conducts frequent trainings on sexual harassment, discrimination, wage and hour issues and other employment law areas.

Ms. Zargarof has extensive trial experience before state and federal courts and in arbitration. Most recently she has received defense verdicts on behalf of her clients in the following cases:

  • Jury verdict in whistleblower/retaliation case
  • Jury verdict in sex harassment and retaliation case
  • Jury verdict in multi-plaintiff meal and rest period case
  • Judgment in overtime exemption class action at the conclusion of court trial
