Jeanne Curtis is a partner in Ropes & Gray's Intellectual Property Group and is assistant head of the Litigation Department.

Professional Experience

Jeanne's practice focuses on litigation related to patents, trade secrets, unfair competition, and antitrust. Jeanne's courtroom experience is extensive, having had jury trials, bench trials, Markman hearings, and evidentiary hearings in federal courts throughout the United States. In the past several years alone, Jeanne has had two jury trials and two bench trials, with judgment entered in favor of her clients in each instance. In the same time period, Jeanne has han dled multiple Markman hearings and case dispositive oral arguments, again with favorable results for her clients. Jeanne's experience includes a broad spectrum of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, consumer products, office furniture, electronics, polymer science, and wireless and landline communication systems.

Speaker at various in-house and external programs on topics such as motion practice, depositions, ethics, claim construction and Markman hearings, and inequitable conduct
