Jean Michel is a partner with Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Capital Markets.

He obtained his JD from Universidad Iberoamericana, and obtained his LL.M from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Mr. Enriquez worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

Among other client-matters, he recently advised AT&T in the US$1.8 billion acquisition of Nextel Mexico and the sale of its interest in America Móvil, and Grupo Modelo, in the company’s US$20.1 billion acquisition by Anheuser-Busch Inbev. To date, this transaction remains the single largest acquisition in Mexico’s history.

Since 2007 Jean Michel has consistently been ranked Tier 1 in his field by Chambers Global and Chambers Latin America. He is also ranked as a leading lawyer by Legal 500 Latin America, Latin lawyer and named in The International Who’s Who Legal of M&A and Capital Markets Lawyers and M&A since 2007.

Jean Michel is a Mentor in the Mexico Chapter of Endeavor, and a member of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse Mexico.
