Jamie Kohen has been practicing employment law for 15 years.  She is currently Executive Director, Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase Bank.  In this role, Jamie manages a team of employment lawyers who provide strategic advice and handle employment litigation across the Chase Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) businesses.  CCB has approximately 135,000 employees and includes Chase’s Auto Finance, Business Banking, Chase Wealth Management, Commerce Solutions, Consumer branches, Credit Card, Operations and Mortgage Banking businesses.

Prior to joining JPMorgan, Jamie was a Senior Associate with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York and Philadelphia, and the firm f/k/a Cooley Godward LLP in San Francisco.  Jamie also was a part-time adjunct faculty member of Villanova University, where she taught an employment law seminar for Graduate Studies in Human Resources Development.  She clerked for the Honorable William Alsup of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.  Jamie graduated from Harvard Law School, and Cornell University with Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies.

Jamie has been a Board Member of the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) for 13 years, and is involved with ADL’s education initiatives, which promote diversity and inclusion, and anti-bullying programs.  Jamie also is a member of AWARE (Assisting Women through Action, Resources & Education), a local grass-roots nonprofit that partners with organizations supporting women.  Jamie lives in Manhattan with her husband Jason and two daughters.
