Hunter Hale has a private practice in Tokyo and Washington, DC. He concentrates on Asian trade and competition matters, dispute resolution, and corporate compliance, and has long counseled meetings for CEOs of the world’s largest companies. Mr. Hale stopped one massive international investigation having subpoenas withdrawn, and prefers to avoid investigations altogether through timely advice on how to achieve business objectives safely. Positions in the community include: Trustee of a prestigious Tokyo international school (continuously for over twenty-five years including his years in Beijing and DC); Panel of Arbitrators, Japan Commercial Arbitration Association; Past Vice President, American Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
