This panel will discuss procedural and substantive legal issues relating to filing special education related matters in federal district courts and/or state superior courts. The panel will review the standard of review and other practical considerations related to filing appeals to special education due process decisions. It will also discuss filing court cases to enforce settlement agreements and hearing decisions and fee petitions relating to representation of clients in special education due process proceedings.
