Erin Mears is currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Manhattan Family Justice Center at the New York City Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence. Prior to joining the Manhattan Family Justice Center Erin served as a Senior Staff Attorney at Sanctuary for Families Center for Battered Women’s Legal Service for 8 years where she litigated complex custody, visitation, order of protection, child support, matrimonial and Article 10 abuse and neglect cases. Erin also clerked for the Honorable Bernadette DeCastro at the New Jersey Superior Court. Erin serves on the Lawyers Committee Against Domestic Violence. Erin obtained her law degree from the City University of New York School of Law, Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany.
