Eric Capp joined RBS in 2007 as a Managing Director and Head of Leveraged Capital Markets, Europe and Asia. He was promoted in 2009 to Global Head of High Yield Syndicate and again in 2011 taking on additional responsibility for European High Yield Bond and Loan Capital Markets Origination.

Prior to joining RBS, Eric was a Managing Director in High Yield Capital Markets for JPMorgan in London. Eric joined JPMorgan in 1997 as an Associate in High Yield in New York and moved to London in 1998 to start JPMorgan's European High Yield bond business. In 2005, Eric was promoted to Head of High Yield Capital Markets for JPMorgan in London.

From 1989 to 1995 Eric was a generalist investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, focusing in corporate finance, equity and M&A.

Eric graduated from the Harvard Business School in 1997 with an MBA and in 1989 received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Eric is also Chairman of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe / European High Yield Association (AFME/EHYA).
