Elizabeth Mersch is a Corporate Director, Export Operations, Northrop Grumman Corporation Export/Import Shared Services. She is responsible for interface to the U.S. Government for all Northrop Grumman export licensing matters, and trade policy matters affecting exports. Export Operations personnel are also responsible for assistance to the business sectors on Department of Defense technology release issues, e.g. LO/CLO Review, compliance with INS/GPS policy, software source code release, etc.

Ms. Mersch has over 25 years experience in U.S. export and import operations and compliance. Ms. Mersch's career has spanned aircraft (GE Aviation), space (Hughes Space and Communications) and Fortune 500 Aerospace and Defense consulting practice (JP Morgan Chase). She joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2005, and has held various positions. She has been Director, Export Operations, since 2007.

Ms. Mersch is also a United States licensed Customs Broker. She holds degrees in Political Science and International Business from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Mersch has been chair of the Aerospace Industries Association Export Controls Working Group since 2009. She is also a member of the Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG), an appointed advisory group supporting the State Department on matters involving the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Ms. Mersch's primary focus is on the integration of legal and regulatory requirements governing international trade compliance to operational business processes.
