Eliana Chimenti is the head of firm’s capital markets practice, with almost 20 (twenty) years of experience in working with a wide array of transactions involving debt and credit instruments. She was a General Attorney of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários – CVM) from 1997 until 2001. She is one of Machado Meyer Sendacz e Opice Advogados’s references when it comes to IPO’s and other capital markets’ products.

Education: Graduated at the University of São Paulo School of Law, SP, Brazil (LL.B., 1984). Admitted to practice in 1985 (Brazilian Bar Association). Membership: Brazilian Bar Association. Advanced program of education -  Fundação Getulio Vargas (2008/2009).

Nominations:  Nominated by Chambers Global as Leading Attorney in Capital Markets in the last three years. Nominated by Euromoney as the best corporate lawyer in Latin America in 2013.
