Ed Kim is a founding partner of Krieger Kim & Lewin LLP.  His practice focuses on government enforcement and investigations, complex commercial litigation, and cybersecurity.  Ed represents individuals and entities in criminal and regulatory enforcement actions involving state and federal criminal authorities, as well as domestic regulatory authorities, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).  An accomplished trial lawyer and investigator, Ed co-founded the firm after serving for nearly a decade as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

Ed received his A.B. from Brown University in 1998 and J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2004.  Ed also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Naomi Reice Buchwald of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Prior to law school, Ed worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, Inc.
