Dwight Larson joined Mortenson Construction in 2004 and currently serves as senior vice president and general counsel.  He is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for oversight of the legal affairs of Mortenson and for supervision of the legal department.  He also serves as corporate secretary.

Dwight obtained a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Idaho.  He practiced civil engineering at several consulting firms throughout the country and is a licensed professional engineer.  He attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and he began his legal career at the Minneapolis law firm of Leonard, Street & Deinard, where he practiced construction law.  He subsequently moved to Honeywell, where he supported the building controls business for seven years before joining Mortenson.
