Diane Cornell is Vice President for Government Affairs at Inmarsat, a mobile satellite company based in London, where she oversees regulatory and government affairs matters worldwide.  Before joining Inmarsat, Ms. Cornell was Vice President, Regulatory Policy at CTIA, The Wireless Association, where she was responsible for coordinating federal regulatory issues affecting the mobile wireless industry. Ms. Cornell previously worked at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where she served as Legal Advisor to three Commissioners, Chief of Staff of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, and Division Chief in two bureaus.   

Ms. Cornell is a former President of the Federal Communications Bar Association, currently serves on the board of the U.S. Telecom Training Institute (USTTI), and was previously a director of the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). She has, in addition, served as President of USA Badminton, the national governing body for the sport of badminton with the U.S. Olympic Committee. Ms. Cornell received her B.A. degree from Wesleyan University and her J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
