David Mahaffey is a Vice President in the Litigation Management department within Chartis' Financial Lines division. He is responsible primarily for law firm relationships and performance as well as the effective use of vendors in connection with the D&O (Securities), Fiduciary, Employment, D&O/Not-for-Profit Panels, and duty to defend panels.

David has been employed by Chartis for ten years in various capacities within Financial Lines Claims. Prior to joining Chartis, he was associated with the law firm of Mound Cotton & Wollan, practicing in the areas of insurance defense, employment, and securities law in New York and New Jersey. David holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross, and an Associate in Risk Management degree from the AICPCU/IIA.
