David H. Solomon is a partner at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP.  His practice focuses on both media and telecommunications matters, with a special emphasis on enforcement and administrative litigation.

He joined the firm in June 2005 after nearly 18 years at the Federal Communications Commission.  He served as the first Chief of the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau, under FCC Chairmen Kennard and Powell.  Prior to that, he served as FCC Deputy General Counsel and FCC Assistant General Counsel for Administrative Law.  In these positions, Mr. Solomon played a major role in a wide variety of FCC proceedings, across all substantive communications law areas. Before joining the FCC, he was an attorney in private practice.

Mr. Solomon is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
