Cindy O’Hara is a Senior Trial Attorney with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She has been litigating with the EEOC for sixteen years. Prior to joining the EEOC, she was a labor and employment attorney with Davis, Reno & Courtney for ten years. She previously served as supervising attorney to the Immigration Reform and Control Act program of Catholic Charities, and as a supervisory attorney at Instituto Laboral de la Raza. She has spoken at numerous programs on the Americans with Disabilities Act, sexual harassment (particularly of farmworkers), and on advancements in federal anti-discrimination law concerning LGBT rights in the workplace. Published ADA decisions include Espinal v. Northwest Airlines, 90 F.3d 1452 (9th Cir. 1996) and EEOC v. Walgreen Co., ___ F.Supp.2d ___, 29 A.D.Cases 1031 (N.D.Cal. 2014). She received her J.D. from the University of California at Davis in 1984.
