Catalina Joos Vergara is a partner in O'Melveny's Los Angeles office and is a member of the Class Actions, Mass Torts, and Insurance Litigation Practice. She has been recognized as a Southern California “Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine.
 
Catalina has represented firm clients in all phases of civil litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. She specializes in complex matters, with a focus on multidistrict proceedings, and has participated in significant pro bono cases. In addition, Catalina has experience in white collar criminal defense matters and corporate internal investigations.

Catalina is also active in firm life and in the community. At O’Melveny, she founded the Women Attorneys’ Network; co-founded the Los Angeles Community Involvement Committee; served on the Los Angeles Associates and Counsel Advisory Committee, including one year as Chair; and currently serves on the Women’s Advisory Board. Outside the firm, she has participated on the Associates Advisory Board of the Legal Foundation of Los Angeles and the Young Lawyers Division of the Los Angeles Association of Business Trial Lawyers, among other organizations. For her substantial contributions, she has been recognized with an O’Melveny’s Values Award.
