Brooke Wentz is an IP rights executive who founded The Rights Workshop, a consultancy company specialized in securing music rights and licensing music for emerging media and tech start-ups. Prior she was the former MD for ESPN, a legal consultant to TechTV and Manager of A&R Administration for Arista Records. She authored the book Hey! That’s My Music: Music Supervision, Licensing and Content Acquisition and has recently launched a new platform for discovering, listening and licensing international music called Seven Seas Music. She is a former public radio host who won a Billboard Award for one of the best selling world music recordings. Brooke holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Barnard College.
