Bradley Silver is chief copyright counsel for Time Warner Inc, where he focuses on copyright issues impacting the diverse products and services offered by each of Time Warner’s divisions: Warner Bros., HBO, Time Inc. and Turner Broadcasting Systems.  With a specific focus on digital copyright, Bradley leads several cross-divisional initiatives in support of Time Warner’s digital strategy and covers IP transactional matters (including licensing, clearances, sweepstakes/promotions), digital rights management and anti-piracy initiatives as well as copyright issues in the context of legislative/policy-related matters and international copyright instruments and trade agreements.  In addition to his copyright portfolio, Bradley has primary responsibility for overseeing Time Warner's patent portfolio and patent licensing matters.

Bradley obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he graduated in 1995.  Following his graduation, he focused on entertainment law for Webber Wentzel Bowens in Johannesburg, before moving to New York to join the IP transactional group at Kirkland & Ellis IP.  Bradley has been at Time Warner since 2004.
