Brad A. Geary began working as an agent for the HUD OIG Office of Investigations in 1988 in the Chicago Field Office. From 1995 to 1999, Special Agent Geary worked in the HUD OIG Saint Louis Resident Office.  In 1999, Special Agent Geary returned to the Chicago Field Office as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge.

During his career, Special Agent Geary has investigated numerous cases involving single-family and public housing fraud in several different states in the Midwest.
 
Special Agent Geary received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology in 1988 from Northern Illinois University and a Master's Degree in Law Enforcement Administration in 1994 from Western Illinois University.

Special Agent Geary has been an instructor for agents at HUD, teaching courses on Single Family Fraud, Public Housing Fraud, Trial Preparation, and Leadership Development for New Supervisors. Agent Geary has also been a guest instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia as well as the Department of Justice Advocacy Institute in Columbia, South Carolina.
