Why You Should Attend

Compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws continues to be critically important to both employers and employees. Attorneys, as well as human resources and compliance personnel, must stay up to date on the latest legal developments related to minimum wage and overtime pay; be informed about U.S. Department of Labor initiatives and regulatory changes; and understand wage and hour violations that may be present as many workers continue to perform at least some of their work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Attorneys will obtain skills credit for learning key aspects of mediating and settling wage and hour cases, and for exploring common discovery disputes that occur in wage and hour litigation and how to handle them.
