Why You Should Attend

In this convenient 90-minute session, law firm, consulting, and law school professionals will discuss the emerging concepts surrounding law student and attorney professional identity development. First, we will discuss professional identity development in the context of the newly-revised ABA Standard 303(b). Next, we will assess whether, and if so how, professional identity development differs from familiar concepts regarding professional development, wellness, and DEIB. Finally, we will share strategies and lessons learned so far in fostering professional identity development in law schools and in law firms and future possibilities in this area of professional development.
