34th Annual Elder Law Institute

This year’s Institute will focus on key issues for attorneys and allied professionals who represent elderly clients or clients with aging parents. Experienced practitioners will discuss fundamental and evolving issues such as Medicaid, guardianship practice, New York’s new Power of Attorney law, snowbird legal issues, health coverage eligibility in New York and the Public Health Emergency, and ethical issues that frequently arise in elder law practice. 

Potential significant changes to both home care and nursing home Medicaid eligibility also will be covered.

While the Institute will highlight New York law and practice, the legal doctrines and strategies explored by the presenters will have relevance for practitioners in other jurisdictions.
