Overview

Why You Should Attend

Negotiating and drafting construction contracts is an art. Whether your representation involves privately financed deals or public works projects, one size simply does not fit all. Even the most experienced practitioners must stay abreast of market demands, regulation updates, and recent court decisions in order to best protect clients’ interests.  In particular, the year 2020 has presented significant challenges to how construction contract provisions are interpreted and enforced by the courts, thus making this full-day course more important than ever.

PLI is proud to join with Program Chairs Patrick Miller of Faegre Drinker and Conor Tighe of Turner Construction in bringing together several of the most respected voices in construction law for this unique course on best practices and up-to-date insights on construction contracts.  Attendees of this program will hone their skills in navigating critical contract provisions, planning for market changes, and understanding the requirements of government agencies and private developers.
