Why You Should Attend

Compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws is critically important to employers and employees. Attorneys, as well as human resources and compliance personnel, must stay up to date on the latest legal developments related to minimum wage and overtime pay, be informed about U.S. Department of Labor priorities and regulatory changes, and understand the state of the law impacting the arbitration of wage and hour matters.

Attorneys will obtain credit for acquiring knowledge of new federal wage and hour regulations and learning about the U.S. Department of Labor’s increased focus on child labor violations, and get an understanding of the state of the law involving arbitrating wage and hour cases. In addition, test your understanding of which Rules of Professional Conduct may be at issue when handling wage and hour claims, and earn ethics credit while doing so.
