Compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws continues to be critically important to both employers and employees. Attorneys, as well as human resources and compliance personnel, must stay up to date on the latest legal developments related to minimum wage and overtime pay; be informed about U.S. Department of Labor initiatives and regulatory changes, as well as its enforcement priorities.
Attorneys will obtain skills credit for learning key aspects of arbitrating wage and hour cases, and for navigating common discovery disputes that occur in wage and hour actions, as well as working with experts in these types of cases. Finally, test your understanding of which Rules of Professional Conduct may be implicated in wage and hour claims, and earn ethics credit while doing so.
