Overview
The last few years brought a number of big legislative and regulatory developments concerning pension benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. The turning of the page on the Trump Administration opens up the likelihood of some changes in direction regarding some of the most important regulatory issues and the possibility of progress and further developments in some areas for which legislation is the key. In addition, some big challenges, particularly in the area of multiemployer pension plans, were not tackled.
Please join us for a discussion by our panel of the prospects for developments in the following areas of pension law:
- Bipartisan pension legislation building on the SECURE Act - 20 minutes
