Overview

The sports industry has evolved in recent years, responding to major societal and technological changes that continue to make impacts on and off the proverbial field. Our faculty draws perspective from legal and industry expertise and will address some of the most pressing issues in sports and their related legal implications. The program agenda features coverage of the growth of eSports, the proliferation of non-fungible token (NFT) digital collectibles, the evolving issue of student athlete right of publicity and image, name and likeness and the legal and administrative considerations of diversity, equity and inclusion policies in professional and collegiate sports.
