Why You Should Attend
This new program is designed to train legal aid, nonprofit, and pro bono attorneys and allied professionals about the opioid epidemic. Expert faculty will provide an overview of the science of opioid use disorder, including the effects of opioid use and the mechanisms of medication assisted treatment (MAT), and also will address key topics such as fighting discrimination and other barriers to treatment, as well as partnership models and resources available in responding to the epidemic.
