Overview

The widescale impact of the COVID-19 has had significant implications for nonprofit organizations, their employees, and the communities they serve.  Recent federal legislation – the CARES Act – contains significant financial provisions to help nonprofits address the economic impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak.  In addition, many nonprofits are eager to provide charitable assistance to families in need during this challenging time by establishing emergency hardship assistance programs.  Please join Seth Perlman and Karen I. Wu of Perlman & Perlman, LLP as they discuss the following critical issues for the charitable sector:

  • Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act): key provisions and latest updates for nonprofits
    • Paycheck Protection Program
    • Other loan provisions
    • Charitable giving provisions

  • Establishing an emergency hardship assistance program
  • Additional key issues for nonprofit organizations impacted by COVID-19
