Overview
This Briefing will focus on the implications of foreign investors in US funds under the final rules published by the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization act of 2018 (FIRRMA), which significantly expanded the reach of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). In this program, among other issues, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP lawyers Eric Requenez and Tatiana O. Sullivan will discuss:
- What investment funds are subject to CFIUS jurisdiction
- When does a fund’s investments trigger a CFIUS real estate transaction jurisdiction
