Overview

A new, revamped agenda was created for this year's Annual Disclosure Documents program. Shorter in length and more narrow in its focus, this program will highlight the crucial changes and updates over the past year in disclosure requirements. A faculty of experienced practitioners from law firms and publicly traded companies will break down regulatory developments and the practical and useful best practices attorneys need to have when working with disclosure documents.

Corporate finance and executive compensation developments will be reviewed, and the faculty will address the best practices for attorneys advising clients on what the SEC is most concerned about. Nontraditional and emerging disclosure developments will also be discussed, with an emphasis on trends in ESG and the impact of social media on disclosures. A thorough ethics segment will conclude the day, addressing the issues connected with whistleblower activity and the varying roles attorneys play for their clients when handling disclosure documents.

This program will be of interest to attorneys, accountants, and others responsible for preparing public company disclosures.
