Overview

Why You Should Attend

As manufacturing sectors continue to be shaped by digital developments, diverse, global supply chains, and sustainability goals, consumer expectations of transparency in the source, safety, and efficacy of products have likewise evolved—making corporate responsibility and company disclosure obligations more paramount.

Likewise, regulatory oversight by agencies such as the CPSC, FTC and NHTSA has become even more complex and far-reaching along manufacturing distribution channels. Successful attorneys, then, must be well-prepared to serve as their clients’ resource of first resort for guidance on the laws governing the labeling, marketing, and monitoring of consumer products, and to provide informed guidance on what to do when things go wrong.

Each year PLI’s annual Manufacturing and Consumer Products Law Institute with Program Chairs Elizabeth R. Bain and Mike Gentine and our incredible roster of faculty speakers provides timely and experienced instruction to help attorneys succeed in the critical roles they play along the commercial chain from manufacturing, distribution to the end-use of consumer products.
