This One-Hour Briefing will focus on how change changes us.  Over two years from the start of the pandemic, all of us are having to adapt to lives where a “new normal” hasn’t been fully realized.  We are no longer in the crucible of the pandemic from mid-2020, yet we haven’t quite moved to an endemic state with COVID-19 either.  Law firms need to evolve to meet the demands of the current moment and prepare for the future.  Leaders across the legal industry are having to reflect more deeply on how they acknowledge and support their people in navigating how these times have changed us, and all of us are rethinking what it means to lead healthy, purposeful lives.  The pressure facing the legal industry and our colleagues is no less than it was before the pandemic.  In fact, the pressure has only increased.  But thinking how we can best adapt and thrive at this moment will set us up for longer term success.

Topics to be addressed include:

  • How change changes us – the impact on the various facets of our lives (15 minutes)
  • The implications of a changed working environment for us as leaders and for our firms (20 minutes)
  • Creating healthier workplaces (25 minutes)
