Overview

Why You Should Attend

With law school thankfully long behind you, it’s now time to learn the ethics and skills lessons that are helpful to know as you start practicing law, but tend to arise when you’re new to the job. Knowing how to navigate a range of ethical pitfalls, polishing your writing and communications for clients and colleagues as well as honing your negotiation approach are all skills and tips that are “nice to know” until you “need to know”. Whether you are beginning your career in litigation, transactional work, or in house, employers are demanding their new attorneys possess a strong grasp of these skills from day one.

Newly admitted attorneys aren’t expected to be experts in all areas of law, but they are expected to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and behave ethically and professionally. Attending this full day program will help attendees get started on the right path to establishing their professional brand at the early stages of their career.
