Join us for PLI’s 25th Annual Children’s Law Institute to learn about a variety of legal and social issues affecting child welfare and juvenile justice practice.
What You Will Learn
After completing the program, participants will be able to:
- Identify the latest updates in child welfare and juvenile justice law
- Recognize important reforms to the NY State Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment
- Understand the intent and practice of the Family First Initiative
- Reflect on how to effectively and empathetically represent LGBTQ+ youth in Family Court
