William is a Senior Director in Pine Hill Group’s SEC and Financial Reporting practice. He has over 12 years of progressive experience in the asset management and financial services industries. His private and public experience provides clients of all sizes with detailed and comprehensive knowledge in various accounting and reporting matters, including reporting under both US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
William helps clients manage their reporting responsibilities, provides analysis and conclusions for complex transactions, assist with accounting policy development, and assist in the evaluation and implementation of emerging accounting guidance and related service solutions. William is a member of the Pine Hill Emerging Standards team and is currently focused on a variety of ASC 606 and ASC 842 implementation projects across various industries.

At Citco, William executed financial and regulatory reporting services for investment advisors and their funds. Additionally, he provided services surrounding risk and controls analysis, effective design and implementation of tools and templates, workflow optimization, and complex technology accounting issues.
While at EY, he specialized in the asset management and financial services industries. He was responsible for all areas of the audit, including the planning and execution of general and detailed reviews, controls analysis, technical accounting, complex transaction analysis and conclusion, and various other components. William has served large, mid-sized, and small asset management and financial services companies including, but are not limited to, investment advisors, hedge funds, private equity funds, and registered investment companies.
