Biography
Theane Evangelis is Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s global Litigation Practice Group and one of the country’s leading litigators. She represents clients in federal and state courts throughout the nation in a wide spectrum of cases and has argued and won high-profile, groundbreaking appeals across the country. Theane’s achievements have earned her accolades from leading national legal publications. Recently, Theane was recognized by Law360 as an “Employment MVP” and previously recognized three times as “Class Action MVP.” Benchmark Litigation named her California Labor & Employment Litigation “Attorney of the Year” for her lead role in a variety of important class actions. She has repeatedly been named to The Daily Journal’s annual list of “Top 100 Lawyers” in California. Theane clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and on the Ninth Circuit. She is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee.
